Membership

The Diabetes Nursing Interest Group (DNIG) is an interest group of the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario. Membership in DNIG is open to all Registered Nurses and nursing students interested in diabetes education and care. We would like to point out that it is not necessary to be a Certified Diabetes Educator to become a member, although many members do hold this professional qualification.

How to become a member

You can join DNIG through RNAO Membership Services. The Diabetes Nursing Interest Group is listed on the RNAO application form under 'Interest Groups' at http://www.rnao.org/membership/costs.asp.

Costs

Annual membership in DNIG is $35 ($25 with proof of DES membership). The membership year is the same as that of RNAO – from 1 November to 31 October.
